Hong Kong Secondary Schools Culinary Challenge 2018

Application Form

Entries & Qualifications: 

  • Each team need to consist of 2 members.
  • Each applicant must be full-time secondary school student in Hong Kong.
  • Each team must be S.1 – S.5 students at the same school.
  • Each team must acquire the consents of their school and parents in order to be the representative.
  • No more than THREE submissions for each school.

Rules & Regulations:

  • Each team is allowed to use either Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Rice Bran Oil or other oil for online submission of vegan recipe. However, after selection, each finalist team must apply at least ONE of the Lorence & Company's products “Olitalia Oil” (Extra Virgin Olive Oil/Grapeseed Oil/Rice Bran Oil) and the remaining ingredients value shall be within HK$200.
  • Each finalist team will be sponsored with “Olitalia Oil” (including Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Grapeseed Oil and Rice Bran Oil) before the competition. The Oil will also be provided on the competition day.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Each team shall submit their enrollment form and recipe once only.  All resubmitted forms and recipes will not be accepted.
  • The submitted recipes must be original and never be released in any way.
  • The finished dishes on the competition day shall be in accordance with the ingredients, methods and appearances in the submitted recipes, otherwise marks will be deducted.
  • The Organizers have the right to use the recipes, pictures and finished dishes of the contestants for promotional or other purposes.
  • All personal data collected during the competition will be used for results announcement and contact purposes only.  The data will be completely destroyed within three months after the end of the competition.
  • The Organizers will take pictures and videos during the competition and retain all rights to use the products derived from the competition at any time and any place.
  • Terms and conditions of the competition are subject to change without notice.  In case of any conflict or inconsistency, the version publised on this website shall prevaiil.  Please visit this Event page regularly for any amendments.
  • In the event of any disputes, the Organizers reserve the right of final decision.

  • 2018.4.28 (Saturday) 1:00 PM (Each team will have 45 minutes of cooking time)
